Received word the other day that my first serious boyfriend passed away on August 11. What a shock, as we still think we are so young! lol It turns out that he definitely would not have been the person I'd want (but I won't say why here) to live with or be with after I found out about 20 years what his wife went through...however he made me happy for a time and I was broken hearted when we split, but it turns out I dodged the bullet there (thank you Lord for saving me from that).
Proving to me that the Lord always knows what is best, and while it hurt for a while, it was DEFINITELY best.

Water, Water....8/24-11
Well, deep subject they say. Apparently, the computer controlling the water for our housing development crashed. Now we have to boil any water that goes in our mouth until AT LEAST Friday. Got me thinking about food and water storage. Need to get a plan together and start doing, at least, a little a month until I'm where I should be.

The First 8/23/11
Okey dokey....here's the first. I was reading in a church publication, then saw on the BYU channel that a blog might help with your personal history...so I'll give it a try (I read my nieces blogs often, sounds ok).
I am a California native, transplanted to Nevada. I like it here, miss the ocean and my pals...but Tahoe is here and "home" (and 3 nephews and a niece) isn't that far away AND I'm closer to my family in SLC and CO. So all is well. I am currently an Office Manager at a machine shop...love my job...but been very worried about this stupid economy!!!
My 3 little companions, Mickey, Minnie (Sis), and StarEyes love their sprawling home...a lot of room to chase each other and hide. They truly are the best little friends; always happy to see me and wanting to sit together or cuddle on the couch. Especially Mickey, he's a cuddler. Yes they are kitties, but they are the only children I have! lol
